White City students go to the countryside - May 28, 2013

Earlier this year, we supported two groups of students from Phoenix High School to visit Duchy agricultural college in Cornwall. It was a unique opportunity for urban young people to experience countryside delights such as tractor driving and milking cows (and presumably plenty of mud). The young people took part in a range of agricultural skills sessions, outdoor activities and team building activities. We are delighted to learn that one student has subsequently been accepted on a full time horticultural course at the college next year.
