Trustee Bricklaying at Sycamore Gardens - July 7, 2011

Trustee BricklayingPouring rain did not prevent Trustees of Hammersmith’s own charity laying bricks as part of the construction of the new Sycamore Gardens retirement flats scheme.

The 3.6m development will provide 24 new flats and a specially designed sensory garden for older Hammersmith residents living on a limited income.

There will be 6 flats specifically designed for wheelchair users and the complex will contain interior designed lounge, library and computer suite.

The whole site will also benefit from its own, full time, permanent scheme manager to look after residents and their flats.
